Important Information - Office Closing to In-Person Visits

Effective immediately, our office will be closed to the public. We are still here working and can take soil samples, plant samples, insect, 4-H camp applications, etc. Please see signs at the front of our building. Call our office at 859-623-4072 if you have any questions or want to check-in before you arrive to drop something off. This decision was made in response to recommendations from the University of Kentucky and the CDC to keep all of our employees and clientele safe! Keep watching this page for updates and other useful information!

Use the mail slot for 4-H Camp Applications.

A cart will be outside the front door from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for soil and plant samples that need to be dropped off. When you drop anything off, give us a call so we will know to go out and get it, 859-623-4072.

Meeting Cancellation Schedule

As of now, based on guidance from the University of Kentucky, all Madison County Extension programs will be cancelled through mid-May. Our office plans to remain open to assist clientele as needed. We ask if you do plan to visit our office to be mindful of safety precautions such as: wash your hands frequently or use alcohol based hand sanitizer; avoid close contact; cover coughs and sneezes; and most importantly, please stay home if you are sick. This information could change with short notice, so please continue to watch and interact with our social media to stay up to date! We appreciate your patience and understanding as we are all navigating this current situation. Our number one priority is the safety of our clientele and staff.
